Position Overview
This position is responsible for reducing regional subrental costs, increasing equipment utilization, improving internal customer service, and implementing cost-savings strategies developed in conjunction with regional and corporate teams. Oversee the transportation process between regional locations. Contribute to and implement overall business strategies related to developing subrental relationships while participating in pricing plan negotiations and revisions. This position will report into the National Equipment Manager.
Key Job Responsibilities
Asset Management & Large Event Support
Work closely with regional teams to develop logistical plans resulting in maximum utilization of company owned equipment within the region and nationally. Gather equipment shortage data and source equipment from internal locations to fulfill those needs. Work with regional locations to manage equipment logistics and prioritize regional equipment for large events. Oversee internal equipment transfers, transportation logistics, and quality control process, with an emphasis on keeping company-owned equipnment in use and available as often as possible to maximize cost reduction opportunities.
Information Management & Analysis
Construct and maintain a log for analyzing equipment usage trends. Work with the Manager of Asset Planning to assess product utilization, costs, revenues, and contribution. Analyze sub-rental and depreciation data for all locations within assigned region to seek out opportunities to improve financials and improve client satisfaction. Assist in developing long-term strategies for maximizing internal resources in an effort to lower costs.
Customer Service
Execute high communication standards, both verbally and in writing, to set, follow through, and meet customer expectations clearly and accurately. Work closely with all divisions to maximize equipment utilization and ensure large equipment needs are able to take advantage of local resources to maximize cost-reduction. Assist with trainings and / or development programs for local teams to increase and enhance technical knowledge of company-owned assets.
Vendor Management
Manage existing relationships with local subrental providers in order to provide the most efficient coverage and service throughout the business. Work with regional teams to resolve occurrences of missing and damaged equipment. Work with both the vendor and field locations on any service issues, gather feedback on overall support levels, and work with the regional and corporate teams outline opportunities for improvement. Perform frequent vendor reviews, including field surveys, to ensure service standards and guidelines are consistently high.
Reporting
Develop effective reporting processes. Establish actionable benchmarks and report out to various leadership teams on progress, successes, and challenges. Provide regular, detailed reports that outline specific action steps and provide concise evaluation of regional equipment needs. Track and regularly report on the achieved savings of executed strategies.
Job Requirements
• 3 years of Management experience
• Demonstrated excellent leadership and management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills
• Ability to successfully interact and support all levels of management within the organization
• Strong analytical ability
• Advanced knowledge of Excel

Work Environment
Work is performed primarily in an office environment. When traveling, work will be completed in a hotel environment with limited exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members may use high-end audio visual equipment and electrical components. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in an office environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area.
