Dietetic Assistant
Good Samaritan University Hospital is a 537- bed (including 100 nursing home beds) teaching hospital and a member of Catholic Health. The Dietetic Assistant is responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of the computer card file for each patient which can include: diet order, tube feeding order, allergies, supplements, nourishment and food preferences.
Responsibilities:
- Obtaining & entering of daily menu selections into the computer system via the Call Center
- Printing of daily reports as assigned
- Preparation of meal tickets for the tray line.
Requirement:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- AAS Degree meeting the educational standards established by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) preferred.
- Basic computer skills required, knowledge of CBORD (diet order management system) strongly preferred.
- Bilingual preferred
- Foodservice Ambassador/Dietary Aide experience
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutrition supplements
- Experience working in a call center strongly preferred
