Beauty Supply Cashier/Assistant

Store Hours: M-Sat 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM Sunday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Part Time ~15-35 hrs. Weekend Availability Required $16.00 - $17.00 per hour.

I am looking for a bilingual (Spanish), Store Cashier with cash register experience and some knowledge of beauty and hair products. Register is a one key old register and requires speed and high accuracy. Must have strong math skills and willingness to learn new skills/concepts. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will be able to quickly help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints with humility and grace will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied. Timeliness and dependability is our key focus in selecting the responsible candidate. Must be willing to be instructed and expected to learn Store's procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers
• Be able to operate the cash/card register
• Monitor Cameras
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing, and suggestions)
• Cleaning, vacuuming, etc (Whatever necessary to maintain a clean working environment)
• Price tagging all products
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products
• Be able to carry 30+ lb boxes on inventory days
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Coordinate with the team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
• Provide customer feedback/requests to the Owner
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services

• Preferably has work experience as a Beauty Supply Assistant, Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or expert knowledge.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
