Analyze and study future football opponents as well as current Illinois student- athletes, via various methods of data and film analytics. Assist positional coaches in
evaluating and creating strategic training preparation.
Duties & Responsibilities
Education: Required: Bachelor s degree in Sports Administration, Communication, Statistics or closely related field Experience: Required: At least one year of experience working with a collegiate or professional football program, either as player or personnel
Preferred Qualifications
Experience:
Preferred: Experience with NCAA Division I-A or NFL programs preferred
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
This is a 100% full-time Academic Professional position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 2/1/2023. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Job Summary

- Conduct data analysis of football practice and position specific drills and workouts to provide evaluations of areas of strength/weakness, and formulating and
- Statistical analysis of future opponents requiring collection and analysis of opponent game film and collected written statistics to provide statistical information to
- Statistical analysis of current team via film and written statistics throughout the regular season, designed to highlight areas of strength or weakness
- Reporting & Support
- Maintain self-scout breakdowns, creating real-time, on-field, in-game content, intended to create, adapt and implement specific plays for opposing team
- Monitor performance of student-athletes during practice, to create a data report
- Formulation and organization of data analysis in a manner useful to strategic team improvement
- Collaborate with Offense/Defense coaching staff in implementation of action plans to designed to strategically improve current Illinois athletes
