Quality Assurance Manager

EBG is looking for a dynamic person to join our performance driven team. We are growing very quickly so we need an experienced hands on person that will manage Software Testing and Quality Assurance. The purpose of Software Testing and Quality Assurance is to provide the means and also the measures for testing all the aspects of a software solution, both functionally and technically, in order to meet the requirements and overall quality of the intended solution.

The Quality Assurance Manager candidate should exhibit a desire to grow with the company, take pride in their work, and fit well within a multi-level team environment. This is a hybrid role and will require some workdays onsite.

The QA Manager can be based in Orlando or Miami FL, or Austin TX areas

Job Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Quality Assurance Analysts
• Communicating with employees to gain feedback about the implementation of new automation technologies
• Developing plans to introduce new automation technologies to increase efficiency and productivity levels within the company
• Evaluating potential automation projects to determine whether they make sense from a business standpoint
• Creating detailed plans for automating processes within a company, including what resources will be needed and how long the project will take to complete
• Conducting feasibility studies on automation technologies to determine whether they will be useful in a given situation
• Determining which areas of a business can benefit from automation
• Coordinating with other departments within a company to ensure that an automated process meets their needs
• Conducting research on new technology to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity in a business
• Establishing guidelines for the use of automated systems within a company
• Developing training materials for employees who will be using an automated system
• Maintaining an inventory of automated systems within a company, including hardware and software components
• Detailed regression support of existing websites
• Provide guidance to leadership on prioritization and optimization
• Responsible for planning and creating an end-to-end test plan of projects; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected.
• Application should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other legacy- and / or external systems.
• Ensuring that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the product goes live
• Analysis of requirements to produce test cases
• Review of bug fixes and minor system enhancements to ensure expected results are achieved
• Working with the developer team to provide continuous iterative feedback
• Setting estimates and expectations for task completion, tracking on target deadlines
• Other support tasks as required
  
  

• Bachelor s degree plus 5+ years of QA experience, SDLC QA processes or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of real world experience
• Deep knowledge and experience in Quality Management Software and Processes
• Understanding of QA Automation processes and tools
• People Management experience
• Experience designing and implementing technology QA structure and processes
• Flexibility to adjust to changing business demands
• Self-motivated and organized
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work both individually and with a team
• Advanced knowledge of Web Standards, Accessibility Standards & browser compatibility
• An understanding of the importance of User Experience & User Interface
• Experience in the demands of deadline-driven work
• Creative solving of technical problems
• Knowledge and experience in technical aspects of software solution being tested
