Position Overview:
The Clinical Training Manager (CTM) will build strategic, short &long-term partnerships with our new & existing customers through the clinical training and education of physician and staff on safe and effective use of the NeuroStar TMS devices and therapy ensuring our providers are delivering successful clinical outcomes. The CTM will work collaboratively with the Clinical Practice Coordinator (CPC) team to demonstrate the NeuroStar Clinical Value Proposition.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial hands-on medical and technical, clinical training on the Neuronetics NeuroStar TMS Therapy System, based on company training curriculum, in all new accounts incorporating NS TMS in their practice and assess needs of the customer's follow up training requirements. Clinical training to include, but not limited to: ensuring physician and staff understanding of the NeuroStar clinical trial data, guiding physician and staff on pre-treatment planning, proper therapeutic technique to ensure safe and effective use of NeuroStar TMS consistent with the labeled indication for use of the device, all elements of Neurostar TMS treatment as clinically appropriate for an initial set of patients (these elements include but are not limited to the performing of a motor threshold estimation, proper patient positioning, interpretation of on screen data, post treatment planning, and ongoing patient management).
- Demonstrate an acceptable level of proficiency on all aspects of the company-provided Certification Program
- Complete all training using company SOPs
- Complete and submit proper documentation
- Provide feedback to management on product performance and customer response to Neuronetics and its products
- Other Duties as needed or required
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated teaching skills
- Excellent presentation skills with a sales aptitude
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to coordinate schedules
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products and CRM experience
- Ability to recognize problems and take corrective measures
- Understanding of requirements for implementing a new technology within a practice
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent technical work experience (BS in Science, Nursing, or Business preferred)
- 3 years Clinical experience in the medical industry, demonstrating the following abilities: Interaction with patients in a medical setting and ability to lead clinical discussions with physicians
Preferred Skills:
- Medical Device experience/training preferred
