The University at Buffalo Athletic Department seeks to hire a Nutrition Specialist, who will provide individual and group nutrition counseling and education to enhance the health and performance of the Football Student-Athletes.
As a Nutrition Specialist, your responsibilities include:
Nutrition assessment and counseling
Translating the latest scientific evidence into practical sports nutrition recommendations
Tracking and documenting outcomes of nutrition services
Serve as a food and nutrition resource for coaches, sports medicine staff and athletic administration
Direct program projects and delegate responsibilities to interns and volunteers

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and registered Dietitian, with active status.
Have strong clinical skills in areas of diabetes, hypertension, lipid management, eating disorders, weight management, and other MNT diagnoses; as well as a sound knowledge of performance enhancement principles and strategies.
