POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Graduate Assistant will report directly to the Director for Marketing and Sponsorships. The Graduate Assistant will be responsible to assist the Director with the everyday activities and responsibilities that are involved with administration of the department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
Compiling information to keep the coaches handbook up-to-date Submitting paperwork to HR associated with hiring processes Assisting with marketing efforts for CU Athletics brand Assisting with the planning and execution of the Golden Jacket Awards Assisting with growth and development of Yellow Jacket Club Assisting with management of Yellow Jacket sponsor relationships A commitment to NCAA, Conference, and University rule compliance. Keeping current with and following NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations. Reporting any NCAA, Conference, and University rule violations to the Compliance Coordinator. An understanding that violations of NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified applicants are required to hold a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, possess excellent organizational skills, show integrity, have disciplined time management skills, and have a basic understanding of NCAA rules and regulations. A desire to gain a master's degree and experience toward a future in college athletics is expected.

With this assistantship, the University will provide tuition for a graduate level degree at Cedarville University. This may be a taxable benefit according to the IRS.
