UK Athletics is seeking an experienced ticketing professional to join our team in the position of Associate Director, Ticket Operations. This position reports to the Director of Ticket Operations and is responsible for independently managing high-level, day-to-day operations of the ticket office unit. The individual chosen for this position will serve as the primary Ticket Manager for multiple sports (currently assigned Baseball and post-season Soccer) and will administer all facets of ticketing and game day operations for these events throughout the year. With limited assistance from the Director of Ticket Operations, this position is also responsible for the oversight of access management systems at all ticketed events, including but not limited to setup/operation of ticket scanners, access points, mobile help zones and related equipment needs.
The Associate Director will also manage the student worker program for the ticket office unit, including hiring, scheduling, supervision, training, assignment of work, and ongoing feedback/evaluation. This position also works collaboratively to manage daily functions within the ticket office unit, including ticket fulfillment, mobile ticketing troubleshooting and fan education, development/support of processes for ticket sales account executives, and assisting with front-line customer service/escalated issues during periods of high-volume activity. The Associate Director will also have a supervisory role on Football and Men's Basketball gamedays and may assist with other ticketed events as needed. Position requires the ability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
