We are located in Torrance, California, an Equal Opportunity Employer, and seek an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Sales Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing manufacturing company which distributes globally.
Summary of Position:
The Customer Service Representative provides excellent service and maintains strong customer relations with Paragon Laboratories Customer network by helping customers with complaints and questions, giving customers information about products and services and assist with taking orders. This consists of account management from order entry through shipment, including proactively reporting on the status of orders and product price quotations, prompt order entry, providing freight quotations, lead-time requests, providing shipping and invoicing information and preparing presentations for participation in staff meetings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customer at all times.
Answer incoming calls, emails, and requests for information.
Must be proactive when communicating with customers.
Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers via phone calls and emails.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries, provide quotes and take customer orders.
Knowing our products so you can answer customer inquiries.
Answer customer questions and concerns throughout the order process.
Schedule telephone, Zoom, and Teams meetings.
Processing orders, forms, applications and requests.
Collaborate with Sales Reps and Account Managers to identify opportunities.
Act as the company and customer liaison with the Account Managers.
Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.
Assist with customer requests or issue escalations to the Account Managers as needed.
Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, delivering client-focused solutions via phone, email and chat.
Good customer service and communication skills.
Reliable, organized, detailed and focused.
Industry and sales experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook and Excel.
Knowledge of supply chain systems preferred.
ERP System experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
