Primary Purpose:

The Executive Director of the Pacific High School Summer Institute will design and implement one of the most successful and differentiated high school summer residential programs in the nation. Curating immersive learning experiences based on the highly personalized and caring educational, social and residential hallmarks of a Pacific education, this innovator will bring a collaborative and entrepreneurial approach to drive net revenue, enhance Pacific's brand and reputation and create pathways to support strategic net enrollment gains.



This leader will work closely with deans and world-class faculty from our nine schools and colleges as well as and coaches from our highly respected Division I athletics programs to design curriculum, promote, coordinate and execute a series of two-week residential programs. Courses and programs will be led by instructors and coaches who are knowledgeable in their fields and highly passionate about teaching. First class amenities for housing, nourishing meals and engaging co-curricular activities will strengthen the experience and create connections that will reach beyond the time spent at our 175-acre park-like campus.



Program design will focus on the delivery of rich and diverse residential experiential summer enrichment for high-school age students in a vibrant setting in the heart of northern California on our Stockton campus, often cited as one of the nation's most beautiful college campuses.



Essential Functions:

Establish partnerships to nurture innovative and aligned program design with internal stakeholders.

Look outward for context and solutions to establish outreach and partnerships across the local, regional and national marketplace.

Perform market evaluation and program analysis.

Integrate financial analysis and ROI modeling into program design.

Promote programs within the university community, educational community and directly with target constituencies.

Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of program effectiveness and recommend improvements and enhancements.

Manage financial affairs for programs including pricing strategies and budget development and management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution.

Five (5) years of employment experience designing and executing educational and enrichment programs.

High integrity, fairness, and emotional maturity.

Strong complex problem solving, leadership and diplomacy skills.

Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.

Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
