JV Operation Manager

Danone has an amazing opportunity in our office in Boise, ID for a Joint Venture (JV) Operation Manager. In April 2022, Happy Family (Danone's baby food brand) started their manufacturing facility in Red Boiling Springs TN, called BabyNov USA, partnering with a very well-known French baby food company. The JV Operation Manager will be responsible for all interface between BabyNov and Happy Family and will guarantee not only Happy Family's interest on the production but also Danone's as a shareholder. In strong expansion, Happy Family counts with BabyNov's success and continuously grown and improvement to achieve its goals.

Manage the interface between BabyNov and Happy Family's operational areas such as Quality, R&D, Procurement and Planning.

Lead Happy Family's projects associated with BabyNov

Responsible for setting and reporting operational and financial KPIs.

Find opportunities, drive good practices, and apply lessons learns from other projects; identity, propose and lead the execution of initiatives to reduce cost and improve quality and performance.

Targeted profile: Required Education and Experience (Requirements):

Degree: BS in Science/Food Science/Engineering or equivalent, MBA preferred

Minimum five (5) years' experience required, preferably in CPG beverage/food supply chain

Experience in commercialization/ launches of new products

Experienced in commercialization stage gate processes

Experience working in corporate and factory level Continuous Improvement organization. Leading a Supplier Development / Continuous Improvement department a plus.

Manufacturing Leadership experience in positions of increasing responsibility demonstrating excellence in results delivery

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Solution oriented; always focused on solving problems

Strong financial acumen and business understanding

Excellent stakeholder influencing skills and cross functional leadership

Project management fundamentals to easily facilitate cross functional projects

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to build positive relationships with plant leadership teams, corporate continuous improvement team and other functions as necessary

Proven ability to improve results & increase efficiency

Travel - Up to 10% (primarily North America)

The base compensation range for this position is $66,000-98,000 commensurate with experience.
