Responsibilities
Job Duties:
Our MLS/CLS/MT/MLT may function either as a generalist or a specialist. You will perform testing and report results following standard operating procedures. You will be responsible for performing quality control and quality assurance functions in their role. You will perform instrument maintenance and will troubleshoot instruments, as necessary. Most specialized Laboratory professionals are required to cross-train to perform multiple different tests. They are required to adhere to all safety requirements including wearing all appropriate personal protective equipment.

Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology preferred; or Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry or Biology; or Associates degree in a Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
Certification Requirements:
Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Work Experience:One-year Clinical experience (high complexity testing) is preferred but is not mandatory. Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in highly complex testing for those with Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry or Biology.
