Student Affairs Supervisor

International Aero Academy is a fast growing and dynamic international flight school, air charter operator and aircraft maintenance provider located at the Lakeland Linder Airport, in Lakeland, Florida. The school provides private, commercial and instrument pilot training, to both foreign and domestic students and offers various advanced pilot training classes. The school is open seven days a week.

Interest in/experience with general aviation aircraft and flying is a plus, but not required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Manager of Student Affairs is responsible for ensuring the needs of both our current students and incoming students are met with highest level of professionalism and customer service. Duties include:

• Responding to inquiries from prospective students
• Administering FAA written exams
• Issuing student visas for our foreign students
• Assisting with pricing and billing
• Ensuring the success of our students through their program

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Excellent people and customer service skills
• Cultural awareness as many of our students are from foreign countries
• Honest and dependable; high attention to safety and regulatory compliance
• Self-starter who can work independentl
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills (attention to detail is critical)

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Previous experience in an office setting required
• Business maturity, discretion, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• Computer skills - MS Word, Excel
• MUST be over the age of 21.
• College degree preferred

Current opening is for 8:30a.m. to 5:30p.m., Monday through Friday. Salary negotiable depending on experience. We offer health, dental, vision and 401k
