Responsibilities
EHS Admin will report to site EHS Manager
Job will require both computer-based work and on the floor support
Maintain an accurate, complete, and up to date Safety & Environmental calendar
Maintain records as required by Frito-Lay protocol, permit, or rule/regulation
Conduct quarterly program reviews with operators, maintenance, and managers in order to stay up to date with policies
Update all assigned safety programs and policies
Continually improve the sites environmental culture through site awareness events
Produce reports, as required, for internal and external use
Actively participate in weekly safety meetings/conference calls
Lead and meet with the green team on a quarterly basis
Participate in Audits by providing requested data
Respond and react when an injury occurs
Data entry such as accident analysis findings/corrective actions
Coordinate the quarterly safety trainings on an annual basis
Ensure compliance tasks are closed within the required due date
Upload post-audit corrective actions into MyEHS and properly close according to standard
Maintain the sites risk register based upon the results of the job hazard assessment.
Any and all other task determined to be value added by the EHS Manager
Qualifications
Advanced computer skills – Microsoft Office- Excel, Power Point, Word
Associate Degree
2-3 years of desired experience in industrial environmental health and safety.
Successful candidate will be able to communicate at all levels of management within the site
Demonstrate ongoing 'due diligence' to prevent or detect activity that does not comply with PepsiCo policies.
Capable of structuring a program and technical solutions to ensure compliance while maximizing operational flexibility and cost effectiveness.
Knowledge/experience and/or willingness to learn in Frito-Lay policy/procedure
Good analytical, problem solving, and math skills. Able to identify an issue and offer solutions to solve it
Ability to work successfully within all levels of the organization and drive results
Must be flexible to work and shift/hours. Weekend work may be required.
